Informatica is a world leader in cloud data management solutions
ZeroUno portal, a benchmark for reference and support in the Italian publishing sector, for companies, organizations and ICT professionals, has published an article on the partnership between Lutech and Informatica, focusing on the gravitational force exerted by an increasing quantity of data on cloud platforms on which to base data governance and data integration projects. An essential element which has simplified and accelerated the data migration process is due to the presence of native connectors in Informatica’s cloud platform. Nicola Sandoli, Cloud Integration Sales Specialist at Informatica, clarifies the role of the underlying infrastructure in data governance and data integration projects:
“The cloud is the driving element, and this is a chance not to be able to, but to have to rethink the pipelines, the integration flows, the data models, etc. [...] An application modernization path has to be designed to facilitate and manage the movement of the mass of data into the cloud.”
