Creating a connection between the education sector and the economic fabric, and developing a collaboration with companies for direct access to research programs and digital innovation projects are the goals of the agreement signed between Lutech and the Mezzogiorno Sud Orientale Foundation, representing the Confindustria and Chamber of Commerce systems of Apulia and Basilicata.

A three-year agreement aimed at facilitating companies from Apulia and Basilicata in accessing technological innovation projects, planning and utilizing regional, national, and EU incentives, identifying specialized professionals, and guiding them through professional training by designing tailored courses.

Driven by a common interest, the Mezzogiorno Sud Orientale Foundation and Lutech will develop forms of collaboration for conducting studies, research, networking, and training activities, as well as providing services to support research activities.

This new collaboration is part of an established path where Lutech, a reference point in digital transformation, is engaged in various projects in Southern Italy with investments reaching 60 million euros. These include Lutech MILE, a Technological Innovation Hub created at the Tecnopolis Science and Technology Park of the University of Bari, and Digital Enterprise, an Industrial Research and Experimental Development project for the design and implementation of innovative platforms in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari and its spin-off DonkeyPower.

Collaboration with local associations is a fundamental element of Lutech's DNA,” commented Giuseppe Di Franco, Group CEO of Lutech. “The discussion on future professions and skills requires explicitly addressing the gap between supply and demand: hence the need to create a network of companies that strongly believe in the value of training, a privileged gateway to local talents. We are excited to start collaborating with the Mezzogiorno Sud Orientale Foundation and I am certain that together we can truly realize valuable initiatives”.

For over fifteen years, the MSO Foundation has been promoting economic development and social well-being in the Mezzogiorno Sud Orientale region.

The development of digital begins with building specialized and competent human capital,” declared Eliseo Antonio Zanasi, President of the MSO Foundation. “In this, the partnership between the Mezzogiorno Sud Orientale Foundation and Lutech aims to accelerate the growth of a digital culture through integration into educational programs, the creation of a network of companies from Apulia and Basilicata, and the implementation of increasingly targeted employment pathways”.
