"Today, we have mature and accessible Artificial Intelligence technologies: solutions exist, use cases are well established, and competitive pressure makes their adoption increasingly strategic in every sector. The real challenge is to transform AI from experimentation to stable operational capability, integrated into processes and measurable in results. About 65% of global investment in AI is concentrated in the United States and China, while Europe invests a significantly lower share in relation to GDP. However, the issue is not only the gap in investment, but also the capacity for execution. The only way to catch up is not to talk about it more, but to adopt it better. Experience in the field shows that value is generated when AI starts with processes, with clear responsibilities, defined metrics, and governance that integrates innovation, data, security, and compliance. It is not a question of increasingly sophisticated models, but of organization, widespread skills, and rapid decisions on critical processes. European competitiveness is built on this capacity for concrete adoption. Digital sovereignty is not only infrastructural, but operational: it is measured in the quality of execution. In the coming years, the gap will not be between those who talk about Artificial Intelligence and those who do not, but between those who will be able to integrate it into their operating models and those who will remain stuck in the experimental phase". This was stated by Giuseppe Di Franco, CEO of the Lutech Group, on the sidelines of the World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF).

On this very topic, Giuseppe Di Franco's book “Artificial Intelligence for Italy's Future: Skills, Use Cases, and Value in an Innovative Europe”, published by Piemme, will be released in the coming weeks. It highlights how AI can already tangibly change the way we work, make decisions, and create value.

Also at the World Artificial Intelligence Cannes Festival, Giovanni Russo, AI Strategy and Transformation at Lutech, presented Lutech BrAIn, the platform that enables industrialized, secure, and governed adoption of Artificial Intelligence. The demo focused on Agentic AI and showed the shift from systems that merely analyze information to systems capable of autonomously connecting data, workflows, and decision-making processes.
