The concluding event of the 2020 “ITALIAN CHANNEL AWARDS” organized by ChannelCity was streamed this afternoon.

For obvious reasons, 2020 was a very unusual year for all, and new business requirements have emerged from the markets. This is why the traditional categories of the ICA were reformulated and, taking into account the unusual aspects of the last year or so, which we are still living with, various awards were given for Smart Working and Smart Schools.

Thanks to the votes from professionals and other players in the ICT sector, Lutech was named Best Systems Integrator for Smart Working and Smart Schools.

“After the acquisitions of the last three years, 2020 saw Lutech Group completely reorganized,” says Alberto Roseo, CRO of Lutech Group. “And added to the challenge posed by this reorganization, was the one which affected everybody. But none of us were discouraged: in just a week, we managed to place 3,000 people in a condition to continue fully operational and in total safety.
Thanks to the implementation of streamlined yet precise and thorough protocols, and above all the desire to react to the situation, Lutech Group was able to migrate to Smart Working in a seamless manner. The same ‘migration model’ was proposed to many clients who contacted us for support, both in terms of consultancy and regarding the selection of a new hardware and new cloud-based application solutions.

Therefore, as the award testifies, we overcame the challenge of 2020 while guaranteeing continuity of operations for our group and for all our clients who put their trust in our expertise".

Strategic Directions for 2021

“The results we attained,” Roseo continues, “confirmed the validity of Lutech Group’s exclusive end-to-end approach, supported by extensive knowledge of the markets, of technology trends and the ever-more solid relationships without vendor partners.

In 2021, we will continue in the same direction, adapting to the requirements which have emerged over the last year. Our client companies need more than ever to continue in their digital transformation journey, adopting the trends which are becoming progressively more widespread. These include migration to the different variations of cloud computing, which is ever-more necessary thanks to the uptake of smart working, and we have demonstrated our belief in this with our ’acquisition of BeeToBit, a leader in the field of cloud architectures. For the same reason, we will be making a push for all-round collaboration and customer experience management solutions thanks to the group’s new company TenEnigen, created from the merger of the two acquisitions Ten and Enigen.

Moreover, security is once again proving to be an absolute priority, and for this reason we intend to give greater emphasis to the managed security services provided by our Security Operations Center. Finally, we will continue in the digitalization of manufacturing and implementation of Industry 4.0 projects".
