This year Lutech Group decided to join Fondazione Maratona Alzheimer to participate in two sporting events that combine recreation, wellness and solidarity.

The Group's Running Teams, composed of fellow runners and running enthusiasts, will participate as Solidarity Runners in the upcoming Rome and Milan Marathons, scheduled for March 27, 2022 and April 3, 2022. Being a Solidarity Runner means running the 42.195 kilometers of each marathon by dividing the sections of the route with a relay between 4 teammates and, at the same time, actively supporting the Foundation's projects by promoting fundraising. An opportunity to feel even more united by doing what we enjoy and renewing our commitment to specialized medical research.

The Alzheimer's Marathon Foundation aims to support the rights of people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, so that their rights can be recognized and exercised by supporting care, prevention and research, and is driven by an awareness of a strong need for new solutions to make life better for sufferers and their families.

This initiative renews Lutech Group's commitment to specialized medical research, as well as being an opportunity for our people to get together, get to know each other and team up. Today more than ever, Lutech feels the need to take the field with educational programs and strategies that include activities also related to sports, inclusive and aimed at increasing a sense of belonging, awareness and social responsibility. Even those who will not be running are called upon to do their part in support of the Alzheimer's Marathon Foundation!
