Lutech, a leader in IT solutions and digital transformation and AI, announces the release of its Sustainability Report 2023. The document was prepared in accordance with the new European CSRD directive two years ahead of the planned mandatory requirement and represents a significant step in the company's journey toward a more sustainable and responsible future.

The Sustainability Report is the transparent reporting of activities that chronicles the company's commitment to improving performance in the environmental, social and economic spheres. A tool that provides a dynamic and historicized overview of the choices made by the company and their impacts to guide future efforts and progressively improve them, both in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.

Environmental Commitment and Emission Reduction

In 2023, Lutech achieved major milestones in reducing CO2 emissions, with a 16 percent decrease from the previous year. Several energy efficiency initiatives were implemented during the year, such as the adoption of sustainable cloud solutions and data centers using energy from renewable sources, confirming Lutech's commitment to a low-carbon future.

Valuing People and Commitment to DE&I

Lutech places people at the center of its sustainability strategy. In 2023, the company invested significantly in the training and skills development of its resources, with an average of 20.5 hours of annual non-compulsory training per person. In addition, Lutech actively values diversity, with programs dedicated to gender equity and inclusion and a training platform on hard and soft skills, open to all people regardless of profile and role.

Technological Innovation and Social Responsibility

Innovation is a key pillar for Lutech. In 2023, the organization continued to develop cutting-edge technology solutions, contributing to the digital transformation of its customers and combining its innovative approach with a focus on its own and the value chain's social responsibility. Among the most significant projects, Lutech participated in industry events such as CyberTech and FORUM PA 2023, strengthening dialogue with clients and partners and gathering valuable feedback to continuously improve its services.

Governance and Transparency

Lutech has strengthened its governance practices, with strict policies on anti-corruption and whistleblowing. In 2023, the company recorded no cases of corruption, confirming the effectiveness of the measures taken. In addition to certified Management Systems, transparency and alignment with European guidelines have been further consolidated through the preparation of the Sustainability Report according to the ESRS standards of the CSRD, the new EU Sustainability Reporting Directive, adopted two years ahead of the planned mandatory requirement.

Future Perspectives

Looking ahead, Lutech will continue to develop innovative and sustainable projects, strengthening its leadership in the IT industry and its commitment to a more equitable and sustainable world. A Sustainability Committee has been appointed in 2024, and processes have been strengthened to further expand stakeholder involvement in setting goals and actions toward a concrete commitment of Lutech and its ecosystem to Sustainability.
